Donna - Office Manager- I have worked at 20/20 Westside Eye Care for over 35 years. So many of our patients have become like family. It's always so nice to see repeat patients and catch up on how they are doing. My favorite thing to do is travel. Every year I look forward to going to Puerto Villarta with family and friends, my paradise away from home.
Amy- Assistant Manager- I have worked at 20/20 Westside Eye Care For 21 years. We're one big crazy family. I'm an animal lover who also enjoys the Buffalo Bills and Sabres.
Ken- Optician- I have been a licensed optician for 49 years, which is remarkable because I'm only 29 years old...lol! I'm friendly, outgoing, and always take my time with every patient. I have been at 20/20 Westside Eye Care for almost 3 years. I'm an avid Bills And Sabres fan. I also bowl, and enjoy working out at the gym. I graduated from Kenmore West And ECC.
Traci- Front Desk- I've worked at 20/20 Westside Eye Care for almost a year, although it seems longer. It's a great place to work. I enjoy fishing, R/C cars and the Buffalo Bills.
Our Doctors
Dr. Arnold Kraden
Dr. Kraden was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He received an Associates degree from Erie Community College, a Bachelors degree from SUNY at Buffalo, a Masters degree from SUNY College of Optometry, and his Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr. Kraden has been in full time practice in optometry in Buffalo since 1971, and was a part time instructor at Erie Community College for 25 years. He is a long time member of the Western New York Society of Optometrists, and served a term as its president. Dr. Kraden is an avid poker player, and voracious reader. He also enjoys traveling, and if he isn't traveling to Mexico, Las Vegas, or Florida for vacation, he is traveling to visit his three children and seven grandchildren who live in various parts of the United States. When they aren't traveling, Dr. Kraden and his wife live in Williamsville. Little known fact: Before becoming an optometrist, Dr. Kraden was a United State mail carrier in downtown Buffalo!
Dr. Steven Bench
A native of Western New York, Dr. Bench received a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. He returned to Western New York after college and has been practicing here for 34 years. He has also been an optometric consultant for the Blind Association of Western New York and at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center. Dr. Bench is a licensed foster care parent, and has fostered many teens over the last 20 years. For 25 years, Dr. Bench sang as a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, and served many terms as a board member and president of that organization. He has also appeared in numerous community theater productions. Dr. Bench currently lives in East Amherst with his two sons. Little known fact: While living in California, Dr. Bench worked in the character Department at Disneyland walking the park and greeting guests as Brer Bear and Baloo!
Dr. Kayla
Dr. Kayla received her undergraduate degree at Buffalo State College in Biology. During her studies at Buffalo State she was invited into the Honors Research Program. After finishing her undergraduate studies Dr. Kayla continued her studies and earned her Optometry in Boston, MA. Throughout her time in Boston Dr. Kayla could not wait to return to her home town of Buffalo, NY to serve the community she loves dearly,
In her free time Dr. Kayla is an avid snowboarder as she was taught to ski at just 5 years old. She spends her weekends on the slopes at Holiday Valley and Sunday's at the Bills stadium as a season pass and ticket holder.
